A tower-form spice container composed of three traditional parts - a pedestal, a container and a spire, surmounted by a flag. The pedestal and the pointed spire are marked with several marks. The container is shaped as a cylinder whose sides are beautifully handmade cast with a model of acanthus leafs. The acanthus is one of the most common plant forms to make foliage ornament and decoration, and can be found in Jewish decorative items as early as the Roman Period in the Land of Israel, in synagogues of the early type that is dated to the beginning of the first century CE until the middle of the third century CE.
