ADDITIONAL INFO
An upright Hanukkah Lamp which rises from a leaf-like base. The casting creates the impression of motion, flowing in eight lines from the Shamash to the candlesticks, with eight Stars of David - one dominantly decorating the central pole, and seven more placed between the candlesticks.
The Hanukkah Lamp was designed by Reuven Dayagi, a leading designer in the metal craft industry in the first two decades of Israel's independence (the 1950's and the 1960's). Dayagi was the co-founder of the Dayagi Bros. factory for gifts and Judaica items, which at a later stage operated in the name Hen Holon.
